Read another 30+ pages about Communism today and after reading about the bazillion executions lets just say I'm happy to be living in the U.S. of A. Communism is just a good way to keep a very small amount of people very rich and have the majority of the population basically at the same level with no hope of ever really achieving much more. The outright corruption I read about was appalling and would rather NEVER get rich living in a Capitalist society than to be stuck wearing those blue outfits all those folks had on. I personally think that every person who has the ambition and is a go-getter will sooner or later rise in society and will become influential, self-sustaining, and will establish himself or herself to be a blessing to society. This is in stark contrast to Communist society filtering everything to the people. It is too bad that many politicians today are trying to do the same thing here in the U.S. Not feeling that at all. No society that is truly Communist in form and ideology ever truly prospers as we have in the U.S. Another interesting thing to me is that every leader that came after Mao said that whomever was the leader right before him didn't do so and so right and their ideas were contradictory. This is NUTS! They sat there while that person was in office and followed everything they wanted to the tee and didn't ever take them to task.
Happy Birthday to my Son, Jonah. So glad he was born. We had pizza and cupcakes today. It was a great day. He was so grateful as always and smiled so much and didn't complain about anything. Thank God for him.
