Spent most of the day with my wonderful daughter, Kandra. The truck was badly in need of tires so I headed to the tire store early and I got some new Cooper Tires for the truck. I've been rolling on the spare for like 4-5 months and I figured it was time for new tires since they others were balder than Mr. Clean, not to mention the fact that they were extremely bad in wet weather. Thank God for his provision.
Kandra is getting ready for college and so we made it a point to go by Hasting's and pick up a couple of books for her to prepare for the ACT. She also got some books about Chemistry. Hopefully this will help her to get a jump on things. BTW today and tomorrow only, Hasting's is having a sales promotion on used books. Any used book that is $29.99 or less can be added with 2 other used books of the same or lesser value and you can get them all for $21. I love to read and I collect cookbooks so this sale is a really good opportunity.
